Who We Are

In 1996 under the umbrella of the World Wide Rainbow Development Corporation non-profit, the World Wide Jericho Walk was established as a movement.  A movement to help communities take the necessary steps towards breaking the barriers of hatred, racism, prejudice, misunderstanding, and other social / economic injustices that separate us as a people.

MISSION & VISION

Our mission is to serve as a vehicle to "Tear Down Walls and Build New Bridges,” between families and the resources they need to improve their quality of life through events and programs aimed at addressing social determinants of health & community wellness in urban communities.

Our Vision is to PROMOTE community unity & peace,  PROMOTE Talent, PROMOTE resources & awareness of social and public health concerns, & PROMOTE the cultivation of community collaborations.
Funds raised by the Jericho Walk
go towards
  • Scholarships for youth
  • School supplies
  • Providing food and clothing for neighborhood families
  • Transportation Assistance for families to and from social and clinical Services
  • After School Programs
  • Childcare for families in need
  • Relief efforts for those affected by natural disasters

We are also proud of our efforts in Ghana, West Africa, where we have supported clinics located in villages with supplies and medication for various diseases.
